This photo finds yours truly perusing a 1745 edition of Voltaire found in one of the bookstalls along the Seine. Paris, of course, has its own particular name for the place and its pursuits: Les Bouquinistes.
This is one of my most favourite photos of you. After taking your photo and watching you lovingly finger the books, I really began to appreciate how much you love the feel of the books in your hands.
I'm looking forward to more bookstalls on the Seine in June. J
I am a writer, naturalist, flaneur and citizen of the world. I transitioned from Blogger to WordPress in 2007, so you won’t find me on Blogger today. My latest web project is called Ghost Turtles: Balancing an Ecology of the Senses.
